What could have caused the background theme color of my IE8 toolbar and menu bar to change to BLACK on my XP Professional machine? How can you change the color from Black to another color so I can again see the words on toolbar and memu bar? This is an IE8 design flaw that MS does not seem to grasp or want to fix. You can fix it but it will happen again. It happens regularly to my machine on both Vista and XP and seems to be related to using the Windows Classic or Windows Classic modified theme. To fix it you can change your theme or background to the default and then change it back. Windows 7 Change Toolbar ColorAug 07, 2007 I'm running the new Vista and my Toolbar is always gray.
